26 May 2009, Tuesday:
Given my diminutive brain and a poor memory, I can only vaguely recollect the happenings on Tuesday even though it was just few days back.
I had lab in the morning and everyone was feeling apprehensive as we had to take our Excel online test that session. We attempted the mock test the previous week which was apparently thoroughly guided by our tutor. So basically, that mock test didn't reflect any progress. Anyhow, Excel online test was doable, crossing my fingers to get at least a passing grade.
As proposed by Massy, we headed to ITAS to grab a bite before our tutorial. It annoys me to step out of ITAS smelling like my very own salmagundi of Chicken Chop, Wanton Mee, Nasi Goreng and Roti Prata. It stinks.
While exiting ITAS, I spotted this very familiar face amongst a pool of people. I squinted my eyes to narrow in to this person, aligning him along my line of vision, trying to figure who can that be. At the same time, I was walking on my two feet and tuning my brain to the same frequency as my friends. This, is what I call, multi-tasking.
To my very surprise, I was able to make out who that person was.
I was stupefied to see dearest there. The next person I saw was Annnnneeeee(:
Of course I saw all the others too. In my heart, I was jumping frantically with excitement. In my mind, "Yay! Yay! Yay!" was all that echoed, as though my mind had a heartbeat.
It was like, finally, my friends can meet my friends and my friends can meet my friends. I wanted to do a proper introduction but failed to do so as my mind was seemingly beating rhythmically.
Shortly after, the five of us rushed back to mouth of Business School to meet Amanda so as to return her her POM lecture notes before going for my tutorial.
Once school ended at 1600, I parted with my girls, met up with Nabilah, and joined the rest of them at the table. It was as though we had an impromptu Fish&Co. gathering. Nisa was there before we arrived, then View and Hanah was present too. We were only missing out on Eric.
Anyhow, Ash, Anne, Nabilah and I made our way to Safra on foot, while Khai, Nadz and dearest travelled by bikes. What else can they do at Safra apart from bowling?
Intestines and organs rumbled in hunger, even my toes were screaming for mercy. We were famished. Speaking of which, I am starving now!
After much contemplation, Jean proposed the brightest idea of eating Popeyes. Not so bright after all since travelling was a bit of a torture. However, suggestion was taken into serious consideration. Action was carried out.
The guys parked their bikes at the carpark near the street soccer court and all of us took a bus by the number of 27 or 34. Pardon me for my failed memory.
It was a great meal, but sadly, Anne and Nadz didn't have the appetite for Popeyes. At the end of our meal, we wasted like three portions of fries. We should be condemned for our despicable act.
For the rest of our time spent at the airport, we simply just strolled aimlessly and enjoying every single second we have together. Sounds corny. Haha.
Halfway through, Anne boarded the bus and went home, while the six of us took a separate bus back to Tampines. We went to retrieve the bikes and headed off to E! Hub as they were still in the mood to bowl.
I got home pretty early, but all the better, I had to complete my RA1's tutorial, which is so tedious and too much of a hassle. I kind of enjoyed doing it, though.
28 May 2009, Thursday:
My usual Thursdays in school will end at 1100, but this exceptional Thursday was even better. My tutor released us at 1030 after assessing all our projects.
I met up with Anne, Amanda and Delvina for extremely early lunch before meeting dearest outside the library. It was an interesting day spent with dearest as he brought me to a couple of different places.
First, we went to CDC at Ubi to book his TP. How cool is that. I had to lug Anne's Psychology textbook which is probably as heavy as Singapore's book of laws. Not that I mind since that brick was of a good use to me. I had it shelter me from the harsh weather, a weapon to kill the numerous insects, the pages for me to fold them into paper planes, and so much more.
Next, we went to Tampines central (or whatever you call it) to grab a bite. Actually, it was dearest who ate. Then we walked around in search of a phone which has no camera, as approved of rules and regulations of NS.
To no avail, we changed destination to Bedok central (or whatever you call it). Finally, he found one and purchased it. With so much time to kill, we ambled around that area, practically combing the entire place.
Lastly, we headed to Ikea and we even strolled around in Courts too. It was just that relaxing.
Dearest then sent me to Fish&Co. before he went back to CDC for his driving lesson. I was rotting to my bones at the store while waiting for Anne and Amanda to end school at six. They eventually came.
Knickers.
